Grant Application - Research on a fully CT proving pipeline for open-source hardware wallet architectures, reusable for standard computers
Strahn Cryptography Private Limited requests a $96,000 grant from Zcash Community Grants for research and development of architecture-specific constant-time algorithms for NTTs, Halo2 AST parsing, and ecFFT on x86, STT, and ARM. The goal is to enable enhanced security in hardware wallets by making Halo2 proving pipeline operations viable for constant-time execution, addressing current performance limitations that force wallets to sign challenge scalars without full validation.
