This release contains breaking changes, since the types of these dependencies are part of the public API. The MSRV is unchanged (1.85). Bump rand_core from 0.6 to 0.10 (and the rand dev-dependency from 0.8 to 0.10). SigningKey::new() and batch::Verifier::verify() now require an RNG implementing the rand_core 0.10 CryptoRng trait, e.g. rand::rng() from rand 0.10 (which replaces rand::thread_rng()). Bump curve25519-dalek from 4 to 5. Bump ed25519 from 2 to 3 (and thus signature from 2 to 3). The re-exported ed25519 crate no longer has a std feature.

Zeeder v1.6.3 Zeeder is the Zcash Foundation DNS seeder, written in Rust on zebra-network. This patch release updates Zeeder to the Zebra 6.4.2 networking crates, including a security fix. Highlights Zebra 6.4.2 networking crates. Zeeder now builds on zebra-network 13.0.0 and zebra-chain 13.0.1. The protocol-version floor and network-upgrade activation heights are unchanged, so peer servability and the activation observer behave as in v1.6.2 (#105). Security fix.

Zebra 6.4.2 is a security release fixing a remotely triggerable DoS via malformed V6 transactions. Users on 6.4.0 or 6.4.1 should update immediately.

Zebra 6.4.0 and 6.4.1 are withdrawn and must not be run; upgrade to 6.4.2. The release fixes a vulnerability (GHSA-h5rr-8pqv-grp9) and a syncer stall after a restart near the chain tip.

Zebra 6.4.0 and 6.4.1 are withdrawn. Upgrade to 6.4.2 for a security fix. This release adds metrics, experimental lightwalletd gRPC, capped fee weight ratio at 10, reduced end-of-support to Nov 2nd 2026 for NU7, and improved peer management.
